DEED OF COVENANT

EVERY PENNY COUNTS

The Dorset Association for the Disabled relies on gifts and legacies to be able to provide a worthwhile service to local people with disabilities. Now you can help us to make our money go even further, by telling the tax man that you want your gift to be eligible for tax relief. As from April 6th 2000 any donation, however large or small, to the Dorset Association for the Disabled from a tax payer is eligible for tax relief. All we need to claim the relief is a declaration that the donor wants the tax to be reclaimed. We have a simple form that you can request, fill in and send with any donation you make. This consent can also, if you wish, cover all your future donations to D.A.D.

HAVE YOU MADE A WILL YET?

It is not obligatory for anyone to make a Will and many people never get around to doing so, but if you are a responsible person who wants to plan for the future as well as getting the Inheritance Tax situation sorted out, then you really should make a Will. Putting your affairs in order is not at all morbid nor does it “tempt Providence” but in fact gives you peace of mind knowing you have spared your loved ones needless anxiety and hardship at a time when they will already be upset and missing you. Making a Will also gives you the opportunity to leave a gift to The Dorset Association for the Disabled in recognition of help and enjoyment received or simply to support us and enable our work to continue.

Thank You for Caring !
