BEAMINSTER

Our numbers have again fallen slightly but we are still a small, enthusiastic group, enjoying our weekly meetings and outings. The highlight this year was an outing to the Blue Pool at Wareham, as you can see from the photo(s) below and we were exceedingly lucky to have perfect weather.

Despite the poor summer we were also very fortunate with the weather when we had coffee at Mangerton Mill, not too far away from our club. Last year I wrote that we were going to see Hello Dolly at the Octagon Theatre, Yeovil. This proved very popular.

We have now been to the Octagon three times and hopefully will be going again sometime in the future. Also last year, we had a Christmas lunch at O'Crumbs, where the handicapped serve us so well and we will be repeating this again this year. We now have several helpers and I would like to say a big thank you to these people.
