VERWOOD

We have a membership of 48 and meet in the British Legion at Verwood on the first Thursday each month. Our Committee consists of six ladies and three men. In the past year we have embarked on some additional outings for our members i.e. Swanage Railway, A Music Hall Concert in the New Forest, Exbury Gardens, Portland Bill and we hire a large hut for the day at Branksome Chine where we provide a special tea.

We try to vary our monthly meetings with Entertainers and Speakers. In January we hold a New Year Lunch at the Hamworthy Club with entertainment. This proves very popular. The club goes from strength to strength and is more successful now than at any other time.
