WEYMOUTH

2Hi Everyone, Weymouth calling.

We have had a topsy turvy year with comings and goings of members for various reasons. Some have unfortunately passed away and others have entered elderly persons homes and find it difficult to cope with coming out during the evening. However, we soldier on and try to keep our members happy.

We are fortunate in having Portland come over to most of our Bingo evenings and occasional receive with pleasure members of Dorchester Branch. Although I send out invites to other clubs to our Annual Dinner and to our meetings we only have response from Wimborne, Dorchester and Portland Branches. Hopefully in the year to come other branches may show an interest in our club. This year we are having our first holiday as a club we are going to try Bracklesham Bay near Chichester, as some of our members have been fortunate to go with John Slow and Trish and Bob Martin in the past.

Our sincere thanks to Marilyn and Jan for all their hard work at County Office. Les, Geoff and Harold also do their share to keep the Association alive and kicking. We look forward to the Annual Carol Service where we meet old friends from other branches.
